    Our Client is a multinational financial company, leading provider of benchmark indices and risk management solutions respectively.

    For their Budapest office we seek an


    IT infrastructure support


    The job include:
    Support and manage technology needs for IT Engineering, Development and Business staff of 80 users
    Provide first and second level support to the users, as well as day-to-day administration of Budapest’s office infrastructure (PC desktops, servers, data and voice communications and computer room infrastructure
    Helpdesk support, user, group administration, file, folder access management, software installation, upgrades and troubleshooting.
    Maintenance of the PC server environment, including administration and troubleshooting, server storage management, backups, fallback testing, system documentation and implementation of hardware/software upgrades.
    Telecommunications such as telephone, fax, blackberry and other peripheral device installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
    Liaison with the MSCI London and Geneva Support teams to test, implement new systems, applications or changes to the environment. This person will be managing significant desktop and client product rollouts.
    Given the critical nature of our business, this person will have to carry a mobile 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Infrequently the candidate will be required to come into the office after normal working hours to perform system maintenance. This also may include weekends or bank holidays.
    Requirements
    Relevant IT degree, B.S., Computer Science (advantage: MCP, ITIL Foundation Certificate, Linux certification)
    3+ years of experience of user support in a Microsoft Windows environment (XP & Vista, Office & Outlook 2003 & 2007)
    Experience with Windows 2003 server environment and Active Directory Services, Veritas NetBackup
    Experience with RedHat Linux
    Good Networking and TCP/IP fundamentals
    Knowledge of Citrix and terminal server technology, Scripting and application packaging using Microsoft SMS Installer
    Support of Blackberry, Avaya PBX,
    Good customer service skills
