HandInScan is looking for a Junior Java Engineer for developing our hand hygiene control solution.

Position overview
We are planning to strengthen our developer team with a motivated Junior Java Engineer for various development tasks in our hand hygiene control system.

Main responsibilities
• Participate in architecture decisions and complex development tasks
• Contribution to existing and new developments, customization for customers, product maintenance, business analysis and design
• Structure and extend our back-end services
• Design and build intuitive REST APIs that serve web apps and control our unique hardware
• Write clean, modular, testable code

Requirements
• Some work experience in software development (can be hobby / university project, internship)
• Knowledge of Java programming language (any other programming language is a plus)
• Enjoy to work in Unix/Linux environment, have a basic knowledge of Linux and networking
• Intermediate English know-how (both written and oral)
• Knowledge of TDD, CI, CD is a plus
• Knowledge of web frontend languages and tools is a plus
