    CUSTOMER SERVICE ENGINEER positon

    JOB PURPOSE:
    Customer Service Engineers (CSEs) are responsible for the successful installation/ training and
    maintenance/support of the software and hardware to clients at their site or through remote means.
    A secondary responsibility is responding to support communications (telephone calls, email requests,
    etc.) from clients, including triaging and troubleshooting customer issues through to resolution.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
    • Successfully complete the configuration, installation and implementation of software and
    hardware at client sites
    • Report issues in a timely manner to appropriate Engineering staff through portal or other
    communication means as requested
    • Conduct upfront site planning, functional gap analysis and workflow design
    • Responsible for post install documentation and handoff to support
    • Undertake global on-site client visits to assist in their use of the products
    • Successfully deliver onsite and remote training
    • Collaborate in the design and development of new training courses, installation and
    implementation procedures, incorporating lessons learned from prior installs
    • Stay current on new releases of applicable own software and hardware
    • International travel is required
    • Perform other duties as management may reasonably require

    • Ability to listen to customer needs and develop solutions using software functionality and
    business processes
    Ability to work accurately under pressure while remaining attentive to detail with a professional

    demeanor
    • Ability to work in a team
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision
    • Excellent understanding of Windows environment
    • Good working knowledge of Active directory, TCP/IP, Windows Security, Windows Clustering
    technologies
    • NLB, MSCS
    • Ability to administer SQL 2008
    • Very good command of English, others languages are a plus

    EDUCATION / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High School Diploma required
    • Associates or Bachelors degree desirable
    • 2-5 years related work experience
    • MS Certifications: MCRS, MCITP desired
